- Not started
- An application has been filed but plan review hasn’t begun.
- Under review
- Toronto Building is examining the drawings. Nothing can legally be built yet.
- Issued
- The permit has been granted and work may proceed. Inspections are still required.
- Inspection
- Work is under way or finished and awaiting inspections before the file can close.
- Closed
- All required inspections passed and the City has completed the file.
- Cancelled
- The application was withdrawn or expired without being issued.
Statuses come from the City’s open-data feed and refresh daily, so a change at Toronto Building can take a day to appear here. Anything other than closed or cancelled is flagged as still open.
